Our Simply Red Whole Peeled Tomatoes are prepared from mature vine-ripened tomatoes that have been washed, sorted and peeled prior to filling. Salt and a fresh basil leaf is added for flavor and citric acid is added as a processing aid. A bright red tomato juice is then used as the packing medium.
